Hi,

Just bought this on the AG site (clearanced to $14 from $44). I got it to use w/ Kit. It is not at all historically accurate, but Hannah plays school w/ her dolls all the time and I thought she would really enjoy it. It looks in the pics (& according to the measurements) really big. I'm thinking the scale shouldn't be too terribly bad & dd8 really won't mind that aspect.

Now that I've bought it , anybody have any reviews of it? Any opinions on using it w/ the 18" dolls. It would be a "child size" set for Kit, not a big old teacher's board.

I also got Kit's typewriter set after reading so many positive reports on it from HB members!).

P.S. I'm out of the 100 day challenge, but in my defense it was on SALE & the code was going to expire the 31st...and it's for my 8 y.o. for Easter (or BDay)...and I hadn't bought anything from the AG site since Nov. I know, I know...no excuses. Hangs head in shame.

We love the Rainbow Activity board! My Mom bought it for DD8 when the HH dolls first came out. she still plays with it. The board is a nice size. She uses it for all the dolls not just HH. I think you will love it!

I like it so well that we just ordered another one for my DD7--(couldn't resist the sale price ). They have always shared the other one, but I know she would really like her own!

I think that Homemommie uses it with her 18inch dolls. She has the AG chalkboard, and her dd likes the Hopscotch Hill one too.

I sort of want to get it, too--it's a great price, but I've been holding off.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yep! We have it and love it! It's a good size and is so cute. Alyssa has been using the dry erase side to teach the doll *her* spelling words it has a lot of play value ESPECIALLY at the clearance price. You wont regret it!

    HI,

Thanks for all the replys. Whew! Sounds like I got a keeper instead of a dud.

I had seen the Rainbow board on the sale page for a long time, but had never really looked at it. To be honest, I thought it was a little bright & flashy . I didn't realize it had a ton of fun access. that came w/ it & that a chalkboard was on the back! I just read the full descrip. today.

I think dd will love it. Kit did a sheet of math problems the other day. DD actually made up a mini size homework assign. Funny thing is, she doesn't really like math! Kit hadn't done her homework, so I told dd that it needed to be done before dinner. She complied.

Our Kit is rebellious & quite ornery at times. She kicks putting on her p.j.'s cause she doesn't like the pants. She sleeps late. She forgets to make her bed. She has a mini Kirsten & took the braids out. She can be sweet though & even drew a really great picture of her dream treehouse.

Now when to give it to her...Easter or her Bday in July?

    Thanks again,

    Bren

Valentine's Day is coming up soon. Heh, heh, heh.

I have a lot of stuff stashed. I think that for Vday she'll get the weekend baking outfit and accessories. Mind you, she was lucky to get a bag of candy or a notepad (both of which she would love) on previous V-days.

But, I figure that I am Saving Girlhood!! or working awfully hard at it.
